Description



Beloved president John F. Kennedy was mourned nationwide after his assassination in November, 1963. Part of the healing process came with the U.S. Mint's creation of the Kennedy Half Dollar in 1964. This reverent coin received a very positive reception and the series is still going strong as we near the 60th anniversary of Kennedy's tragic death.
