Before VHS and Betamax, the best home-theater option was the Castle Films 8mm film reels sold in department stores. This diverse sampling consists primarily of little-used reels (some showing more use) inside 5"-square boxes that have borne the brunt of wear over time (averaging GD to EX with occasional missing closing tabs and/or price stickers).

Includes: Abbott and Costello "Riot on Ice"; Charlie Chaplin Old-Time Comedies "Love Pangs"; Hopalong Cassidy "Danger Trail"; Hopalong Cassidy "Ghost Canyon Roundup"; Hopalong Cassidy "Three on a Trail"; Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol"; News Parade "Paris Liberated! Yanks Recapture Guam!"; W.C. Fields "Hurry Hurry"; Encyclopedia Britannica "How to Catch (Baseball)"; Encyclopedia Britannica "How to Throw (Baseball)"; Andy Panda "Mousie Comes Home"; Andy Panda "Nutty Pine Cabin"; Walt Disney "Barnyard Beauties"; Walt Disney "Mickey's Express"; Walt Disney (labelled "Broken Film"); "Here Comes the Circus"; Old Time Movies "The Battle Royal"; Woody Woodpecker "Love Sick"; Woody Woodpecker "Coo Coo Bird"; Woody Woodpecker "Woody Plays Santa Claus"; Woody Woodpecker Pantry Panic"; Hans Christian Andersen "The Little Match Girl"; Woody Woodpecker "Dizzy Acrobat" (2); Woody Woodpecker "Brat Cat"; Woody Woodpecker "Cat and the Bell"; Encyclopedia Britannica "Peter Rabbit's Adventure"; "Simple Simon"; "Little Black Sambo" (racially offensive); Woody Woodpecker "Great Magician"; "Wild Horse and the Little Brave"; Official Films "Alias St. Nick"; Lewis Carroll "Alice in Wonderland."

There are an additional three empty boxes without reels: Abbott and Costello "High Flyers"; "Adventure Parade"; and "Your Movie Show" sample.
