A fascinating archive of player checks from the account of "Baltimore Baseball & Exhibition Co. / Oriole Park" at Baltimore's National Marine Bank. The two from 1929 and two from 1931 are each signed by Orioles president Charles Knapp, and the 1939 example instead features his successor, the trailblazing female team owner/president Mary A. Dunn, as well as Knapp's son, vice president Charles Knapp Jr. What's more, the 8-1/2" x 3" checks are written out to obscure players whose signatures appear on the respective reverses: Eddie Onslow, J. Smith, John Gill, Ralph Boyle and J. McDonald Kerr. Signatures range in strength from "6-9". Some brittle burnt/torn edges and peripheral creasing. All encapsulated as AUTHENTIC by PSA/DNA.
